Brian Austin Green shared an update on his Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Tori Spelling amid some challenges in her life, including ongoing health issues, a mold infestation and alleged difficulties with husband Dean McDermott, who announced their separation in June.
"Tori's an incredibly strong human being," Brian exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker. "I feel like people sort of hit their own bottom in different ways to use as a catalyst for something to climb up out of and to rebirth themselves as something new. And Tori will absolutely do that I believe."
He added, "She has what it takes. She's an incredibly intelligent woman, a kind woman," with fiancée Sharna Burgess chiming in, "A creative woman."
"This is her own learning experience and doing experience," Brian continued, "but she will absolutely without question survive this time in life and come out better for it."
Randy Spelling, who cohosts the iHeart Radio podcast Oldish with Brian and Sharna, noted about his sister: "Families are families. They are complicated. Everyone has busy lives and are doing their own thing but I speak to them and everyone seems to be doing well."
Brian previously gave E! News an update on Tori, saying Sept. 14, "She's doing great. Tori is tough."
"She's going through stuff that is difficult for her right now," the Special Forces: World's Toughest Test star shared. "But she'll absolutely get through it. And then it'll make her a stronger person."
Back in May, Tori took to social media to detail how her two youngest kids, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6, were rushed to urgent care due to a prolonged illness that stemmed from "extreme mold" in their home.
The True Tori star, who also shares kids Liam, 16, Stella, 15, and Hattie, 11, with Dean, documented the journey on Instagram, noting that the whole family has "all been on this continual spiral of sickness for months."
Giving insight into their sickness, Tori added, "Has anyone ever been thru Mold Infections? You just keep getting sick, one infection after another. Respiratory infections. Extreme allergy like symptoms too and like my poor Finn skin rashes as well."
A month later, Dean announced that he and Tori had broken up after more than a decade of marriage.
"It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram statement in June. "We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time."
But in the months since, Tori has not publicly commented on the split allegation, instead sharing glimpses into family time with her children as they recover.
Alongside an adorable shot of Tori cuddling with one of her kiddos in bed, she captioned the Sept. 24 picture, "Morning cuddles… nothing better."
