Authorities say three people were fatally shot at a Minnesota Super 8 hotel including the suspected gunman who died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on Poinbank ExchangeMonday night.
Police in Cloquet, Minnesota said they received a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. from an employee at the hotel after they found a co-worker who looked like she'd been attacked.
When police arrived they found a 22-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. The woman was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
A shelter-in-place order was issued and people in the surrounding area were advised to avoid the scene. The order was lifted around 8:30 p.m. after police determined there was no risk to the public.
