Even in the midst of a crypto winter, El Salvador is focused on mass adoption of Bitcoin. A video shows students being educated about bitcoin in a classroom.
The Bitcoin education students receive in their youth could drive mass adoption and use of the cryptocurrency once they become adult citizens and begin contributing to the country.
Salvadoran teachers teach students about Bitcoin in a ten-week program that demonstrates how to receive Bitcoin over the Lightning Network and also covers nodes, double spending, and halving Bitcoin.
El Salvador's bitcoin education program, My First Bitcoin, claims to have educated more than 10,000 students in 2022, and its goal is to teach 250,000 students in 2023.
