Another season of "The Amazing Race" is coming soon, and the newest lineup of contestants has just been announced.
The show that tests the communication, physical and mental skills of 13 two-person teams will start its journey around the world in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, CBS announced.
This season of "The Amazing Race" plans to make stops in Argentina, Barbados, Colombia and Dominican Republic. In Barbados, the show will make a stop at singer-songwriter Rihanna’s childhood home as they navigate the tropical island for clues to advance in the race.
“This season of 'The Amazing Race' features a cast of adventurous thrill-seekers. We always want to challenge our cast and surprise our viewers, so we are excited to travel to two new countries along the route,” said executive producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri in a news release. “The 90-minute episodes are returning, which really allows us to delve into the countries on the route and get to know our amazing cast. We are ready for a global adventure like never before.”
The newest season is set to premiere on Wednesday, March 13 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
