Ray J wants everyone to wait a minute.
Nearly four months after the "Sexy Can I" singer called off his divorce from wife Princess Love, the pair showed a united front during their appearance at the 2023 BET Awards. In fact, the couple—who share daughter Melody, 5, and son Epik, 3—hit the stage together to present the award for Best New Artist during the ceremony.
But before they handed off the trophy to winner Coco Jones, Ray J took the moment to make his feelings for his wife crystal clear.
"Love wins, I love you baby," the singer, 42, told Princess, 38, as they were onstage. "I'm listening. I'm trying to compromise. I'm never gonna let you go."
The College Hill star also addressed those he said tried to shoot their shot during their breakup.
"And to all you fly guys out there that's been in my wife's DMs when we wasn't together," he continued, "I see you, and I just wanna let you know she's mine. She's mine!"
According to court documents obtained by E! News in March, the "One Wish" singer officially requested to dismiss his latest divorce petition against the Love & Hip Hop star, with their official sign at reconciliation being the third time they called off their divorce.
Princess first filed paperwork to split in May 2020, but requested a dismissal two months later. That September, Ray J initiated another filing, but dropped the petition the following February. In October 2021, the Moesha alum filed paperwork to officially end their marriage again before rekindling earlier this year.
Amid the ups and downs of their journey, Ray J previously opened up about the couple keeping their focus on rebuilding their family.
"We love each other and we care for each other," he exclusively told E! News in February 2021. "We're just respecting each other as human beings, as parents. We're in a great place and who knows what the future holds."
